Professional Development Vaiola, Savai'i, Samoa

We took the ferry over to Savai'i Wednesday afternoon.
We stayed at the Amoa, a wonderful place.
We had an outdoor garden shower.
 The beautiful sunrise

Beautiful Savai'ian Clouds (picture from Elder Rees)
Vaiola High and Vaiola Primary School Professional Development
Friday, Elder & Sister Rees drove us all the way around the island of Savai'i.
The sites were amazing!
First ... a very rare game of Cricket on Samoa ?!?
Gas was 2.75 tala per litre = $1.07 per litre or $4.14 per gallon.
We stopped at a "turtle reserve"
A family taking care of 20 turtles and fish.
We fed the turtles - they ranged from medium to huge turtles!
We stopped at a Lava Tube and went down into it.
At the entrance were these beautiful Poinsetta Bushes and a lilies!
We went on a Canopy Walk
I thought it was walking through a forest ...
No it is walking on the top of the forest!
                                                                 Sister Rees coming across
Swiss Family Robinson would have loved these trees
and this tree house!
Elder & Sister Rees, from Lewiston, Idaho
Our next stop was a beach with lava rock
Next we stopped at Samoa's Blowholes!
Amazing!
This gentleman would throw in a coconut, a palm branch or top
just as the blow hole blew

Our last stop was at a beautiful waterfall!
What a wonderful adventure in Samoa!
Thank you Rees'!
We took the ferry back to Apia.
We spent the night at the Sheraton near the airport
This is the chapel at the Sheraton
What a productive, fun, and wonderful adventure in Samoa!
