Meeting New Friends

Last week we had the opportunity of meeting and training new TVET missionaries.  They are missionaries who work with the Technology and Vocational Education at the high schools.

Dennis and Linda Heiner are from Paul, Idaho.  They are so delightful and fun.  They will be serving at Liahona High School in Tonga.  We are so excited for them!

We visited MIT: Manukau Institute of Technology on a field trip.  In front of the building was this beautiful, bright red plant. The picture does not do the red in the plant justice.

We went for our first haircut.  Che did a really wonderful job on Bryce.  I was hesitant the first time around.  After seeing how good she is, no problems! Color and cut here we come!

We were so curious to see a Seminary & Institute folder on the counter with the name "Karlin" on it. We asked the secretary about "Karlin" because of our sweet granddaughter Karlin.
We had never seen anyone with this same spelling.
It turns out Karlin is an S & I coordinator in one of the outside areas.
He was coming in to pick up items on another day. (pronounced "Karln")

Next week we are off to Fiji for the week.
We will be visiting and training the "Mendenhall's" the new ITEP couple.
