Last trip to Samoa and a Cyclone

We traveled to Samoa for what will probably be our last trip
We took the ferry over to Savai'i to visit Vaiola
We loved spending time with the Fillmore's!
Time conducting Math tests, visiting with the Primary School,
Counselors, and Teaching Coaches
We were on the outskirts of Cyclone Pola!
Lots of thunder & lightening and rain!

We waited and waited for 4 hours for the
ferry company to determine if it was safe to cross
~ No ferries again today. They have not run now for 2 days

 We tried again on Thursday.
We were able to cross!
Thank you Elder & Sister Fillmore
Then ...

After the ferry we were on arrived,
they had to stop running the ferry!
We spent time with the Lloyd's at Pesega!
Visited Pesega's PLC Meetings

The Lloyd's gave us a surprise gift ...
 A Samoan Nativity
made by Sister Hunt! WOW!
Can you tell we are excited!!!!!
Thank you Elder & Sister Lloyd

  1. Wow! Never a dull moment in Samoa! Another cyclone. That’s a deal breaker for the ferry every time. So grateful to hear good things about the Fillmore at Vaiola and Lloyds at Pesega. What about the beautiful people in Sauniatu??? Almost time to come home? Looking forward to seeing you in August!
Love ❤️ you! Bob and Laura Foley
